Everyday we get numerous calls about scammers. From Amazon, Paypal, Apple sending an email or calling saying there is a large amount of a charge. Once they have you, then they have you install their remote program they get into your computer, and then they have you put in your card number, account number, or login to your bank account saying they are doing this to reverse this charge (That charge never existed). Once they have your account details, they then drain your account. Beware of this practice and they seem to target most our elderly community, so we need to make sure they are made aware of these types of scams. As we tell all clients, if you feel something isn't right, feel free to call our office, and we are happy to help you verify it, and ensure you are safe. Anytime a bank issue does pop up, also call your local bank branch, do not use the phone number contained in an email or text, but look up directly your branches phone number.
